How to forward missed calls on T-Mobile
T-Mobile gives you a separate code for each situation: calls you don't answer, calls that come in while you're on the phone, and calls that arrive while your phone is off. Set all three and no call slips through.
The codes
Dial these from your T-Mobile phone. Replace number with the 10-digit number you're forwarding to; the 1 before it stays. For example, to forward unanswered calls to 555 123 4567, dial **61*15551234567#.

To reset all call forwarding back to normal, dial ##004#.
Forward only missed calls
For a receptionist, set the first three: unanswered, busy and unreachable. Your phone keeps ringing first, and only the calls you can't take go to the other number. Skip the "always" code unless you want every call forwarded.
Change how long it rings first
T-Mobile lets you set the delay before an unanswered call forwards. Add ** and the number of seconds before the #: for example, **61*15551234567**15# rings for 15 seconds first. T-Mobile lists 5, 10, 15 and up to 30 seconds.
Test it before you rely on it
- Call your business number from another phone.
- Don't answer. Let it ring.
- Check that the call reaches the number you forwarded to after a few rings.
- Call once more while your phone is switched off or in airplane mode, if you set up forwarding for unreachable calls too.
If the call goes to your old voicemail instead, the forwarding didn't save. Dial the code again slowly, or contact your carrier.
